One explicit actual-price convention

Gross contribution is signed pip movement multiplied by declared account-currency pip value. Net subtracts separately booked commission and financing debits, then adds financing credits. The final ratio divides net by the positive declared reference risk. All cash values must use the same account currency under a stated conversion boundary.

The movement must represent actual fill-price differences or an explicitly fictional actual-price example. Spread and slippage embedded in those prices are not deducted again. A midpoint or ideal source-price move needs its own execution reconciliation first; this tool cannot discover or repair that difference.

Completed fictional result and losing counterexample

The loaded fictional case uses +23 pips, 1 account unit per pip, commission debit 1, financing debit 0.5, financing credit 0 and reference risk 20. Gross is 23, net is 21.5 and net/reference is 1.075. It is not a 107.5% account return.

Change movement to -23 while retaining the other inputs. Gross is -23, net is -24.5 and the ratio is -1.225. The reference denominator remains 20; a requested stop does not guarantee a realised loss cannot exceed that amount. A lower reference amount changes the ratio without changing the cash outcome.

Costs, open legs and membership need their own rule

The inputs do not reconstruct partial exits, multiple conversion events or an open remainder. Use a quantity-aware complete ledger before supplying a single represented movement and pip value. If separate costs are unknown, entering zero would invent their absence. This page rejects blanks but cannot authenticate a reader's chosen numbers.

A subscription allocation is deliberately excluded. Spreading a monthly charge over a selected outcome subset is another analytical assumption and should not hide the full commitment. The result is a declared calculation, not evidence of an independently measured provider or subscriber account.

Clear boundaries for the free worksheet

Positive pip value and positive reference risk are required; cost debits and credit may be explicit zero but not negative. Movement is signed. There are finite magnitude bounds on inputs and outputs. Changing an input clears the old answer, and downloaded outputs retain the unrounded values and scope.

The browser page requires no broker keys, subscription or account connection. It does not fetch rates, check a proof, choose leverage or send an order. Reload and reset clear the in-page assumptions; downloaded files remain the reader's responsibility. This is arithmetic, not a suitability assessment.
